We are no longer a kounta partner, because we gave an honest opinion to a client that kounta was not suitable for his application and also becasue of the bugs in the reporting of sales by category (which as a reseller – we find a lot of bugs and essentially we work as free beta testers for software companies). We were also an affiliate partner of kounta, which basically means that we earn’t 10% of each subscription that we sold. They have also taken that commission away from us for the clients that we had signed up at the time. We are currently working with kounta to resolve this unfair situation, where we have been struck off their preferred list of so called experts, our commissions retained and constant bullying on the basis that we have given an honest and independent opinion and assessment of a clients particular needs at a particular time. I also used the experience of talking to the mystery shopper as a form of feedback to kounta – but they did not seem to appreciate the brutal honesty. I will always maintain, that I was fully aware that the client on the other end of the phone was an actor and a dummy pretending to be a prospective customer. If given the opportunity I would inform the kounta team, that this conduct is a complete waste of resources and my time, having to deal with real clients and real complaints about kounta on a regular basis, its poor taste that they didn’t get the pun at the time, and have decided to come down with a sledgehammer instead of open dialogue and discussion. I mean they take the time and energy to employ a mystery shopper operating out of a call centre yet can not then take the time to respond to a certified reseller and discuss what issues we have to deal with at the coal-face with the user interface to their software app. At the time of the conversation with the “spy” I would have though that the management would have given some real analysis and engaged in open and direct dialogue with the directors of Kent about the perceived issues or software bugs at that time and how they would be overcome instead of sending us an email saying we have been removed from their on-line prefered partner list of experts and guru’s who the general public can troll through and make contact with for assistance and support of their kounta app.
We were a certified Kounta Specialist until they had a mystery shopper call us. We told that shopper that, in our opinion kounta was not suitable for the job. Whilst we still do offer professional service, training and support of kounta and all other POS software (systems) we can no longer state that we are a certified specialist at the request of kounta. We do still however offer support services whereas kounta do not offer this directly. We also offer remotely support to all of our customers on a support plan.
